oh snap!

last week of work before the month-long break. it's gonna be wednesday tomorrow. almost at the halfway mark. i see the light at the end of the tunnel! i have to say that we're fucking spoiled on our show. but i love it.

so monday night was the now infamous season 5 wrap party. here's just one photo from the night. this was the after-party party. here's me and doug benson at the karaoke bar:

anyway, we had our party at the fabulous ava lounge in the penthouse of the dream hotel on 55th and broadway. it was swank, but since we were there, we brought the class level down. a lot of strong drinks were drank, a lot of hugging, some random making out by people on our staff, panelists showed up, cakes were brought out, 3 hour open bar, hor d'ourves. it was awesome. AND THEN, if that weren't enough, at the end of the 3 hour open bar, our executive producer puts his card down and pays for an extra hour of drinks on him! sa-weet!

around 11:30 or so we headed down the streat to the karaoke bar. stayed there til around 3am. journey, def leppard, and survivor were all sung. i love my co-workers. i'll have to say the highlight of the night was right at the very end when there were only 5 of us left. i didn't remember until i was reminded this morning, but brian, one of our producers, actually dropped his pants.

today was torture. i didn't crawl out of bed til 9:15 or so. got to work around 10:15, so only 15 minutes late. someone even showed up to work wearing the same clothes as last night...scandalous! ok. well, hope you fine people are having a good first week of august. enjoy!
